The pool of critical care beds includes 14 ICU beds, 11 beds dedicated to Burns Intensive Care Unit, 6 beds to High Dependency Unit, and 6 beds to Coronary Care Unit. It also offers protocols for patients with acute medical emergencies and facilities of invasive and non-invasive monitoring. This unit is dedicated to provide high quality medical care to the patients with the following problems:

  • Multi-system organ failure
  • High-risk surgeries including open-heart bypass
  • Complex ventilator support
  • Haemodialysis
  • Hemodynamic monitoring e.g., CVP, and arterial line

Apart from all the equipments, and advanced technology, the main difference is made by the personnel, who work at these units. The trained and experienced specialists, the team of doctors with multidisciplinary approach, the nurses, physiotherapists and other healthcare professionals are the backbone towards the successful deliverance of quality services at these units.
